How the domain side works

You own the name. Not me, not a platform.

This is the part most people have never done before, so here it is in full. There's nothing to install and nothing to configure at your end.

    Usually your company name. If it's taken, we'll come back with two or three that aren't and you pick.

    We register it in your company's name

    Your Ltd is the legal owner from day one. The domain registration is included — no extra charge.

    Email and site go on it

    Mailboxes, website and security certificate, all pointed at the name and tested before you see it.

    It stays yours if you leave

    Cancel whenever you like and the domain transfers to you or anyone you choose. No hostage-taking.

What's the catch with a free website?

No catch. We build the site and set up your email as part of getting you on hosting. We earn from the £39 a month — that covers the hosting, your mailboxes, updates, backups, security and support. As long as you're a customer, the site stays live and we look after it.

Why not just use Gmail?

You can, and plenty of people do. But an address on your own name is the difference between looking like a business and looking like someone trying one out — and it's the first thing a supplier, a bank or a commercial client notices.

What happens if I cancel?

Give me a month's notice and that's it. The domain is registered to your company, so it transfers to you or whoever you want to move it to. No exit fee and nothing held back.

Do I need to write the content?

No. We have a short conversation about what you do and who you do it for, and we write it. If you've got photos of your work, send them — if not, that's fine too.

What if I need more than one page later?

Multi-page websites start at £600. The monthly stays at £39 either way. Just ask when you're ready.
